If At First You Don’t Win The Election – You Try And Audit The Votes

“It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes” – Joseph Stalin

There is rumor going around that suggests treachery was afoot during election night when the results of the votes in key states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin came pouring in.

We’ve all heard about the real threat of genuine electoral fraud running rampant across a lot of the US that deals with the real life issues of voting more than once, as well as non-citizens being permitted to vote in many states with lax voting laws.

And while we’ve also heard about the numerous instances of voter machine malfunctions in some areas; for the better part of the electoral system, instances such as these (although they happen on a large scale) are usually contained and kept to a minimum. It is humanly impossible to count the votes without a margin of error, but that margin of error remains small.

Well now there is a new development coming from Clinton supporters that suggests otherwise; and the key culprit behind these anomalies are, you guessed it, RUSSIAN HACKERS!!!!1!

It’s amazing just how far this meme has been allowed to seep into the mainstream, but once again Russian hackers are making the rounds in the headlines.

Anyone who’s kept an eye on the progression of the 2016 election will know that the odds were trumendously stacked against Trump’s; and that indeed the entire system was rigged against him as was the case with all the ‘expert’ polling being carried out. Yet despite the unfair and disadvantageous position that Trump had (especially in previously blue states), the opposition has the audacity to cry foul?

Huma Abedin’s sister Heba had this to complain about on her Facebook with regards to the election results:

It should be noted that Green Party leader Jill Stein was also not taken well with these new rumors of foul play. She and her party have launched a fundraiser to try and raise enough money to launch a recount.

In response to why she is now pressing the issue to re-tally the votes, Stein said she was acting due to “compelling evidence of voting anomalies” and that data analysis had indicated “significant discrepancies in vote totals” that were released by state authorities. –The Guardian

To add to all of this, there is another petition being made on change.org which already has over 175000 signatures to allow for a recount of the vote.

Only time will tell if the remnants of the Clinton camp will seek to use more of the tax payer’s money, and begin the process of both recounting the vote and requesting an internal investigation into the rumors.
